It’s been a great life - seriously! I’ve had the privilege of traveling extensively throughout the US, Canada, Africa, Australia, South America, and Europe. I’ve experienced the wonder of scuba diving undersea worlds as diverse as the Red Sea, the Great Barrier Reef, and wrecks off the coast of Africa. I’ve ridden my motorcycle through the marvels of everything from the natural beauty of the back country, to the daily amazement of the Continental Divide and the breathtaking vistas of our National Parks. I’ve been through blinding snowstorms on a mountain pass, endless miles of pounding rain, and days so perfect that you wanted to hold on to them forever (and even though there are some experiences I would rather not have again, miles on a motorcycle never get old!)

And now, more than ever, as the clock winds down in the fourth quarter of the game of life, the idea of living a "plan be" becomes more and more important. From "The Journey Home", to working with Austin Moto Adventures on a project called, “The Adventure Within”, to exploring more of the world from the back of my BMW R1250 GS, the goal is to be fully alive - and to do some good along the way! I don't want to wander aimlessly (although, how wonderful is that??) without having a focused and philanthropic side as well - raising money, investing in social justice projects, and doing whatever I (we!) can to make a difference.

So, come along with me. Come with me as we visit schools, and orphanages, and aid projects. Come with me as we donate hundreds of The Shoe That Grows™ (Because International), or raise funds for books and education (Room to Read), or invest in and mentor local entrepreneurs through the Because Accelerator program, or work alongside a water well project (Living Water), or invest in a hundred other opportunities we uncover along the way.
